Quick Fixes (try these first)
- Make sure your headphones are securely plugged in if wired. Make sure they are charged if bluetooth enabled
- Ensure that the volume is adjusted correctly on your PC
- Check the in-game sound menu options:
- From the login screen, click the Gear Icon in bottom right hand corner
- Select 'Options' and then 'Sound'
- Under Sound heading:
- Adjust sliders to test volume
- Ensure that the correct Output Device is selected
- Make sure the 'In-Game Audio' box is selected
- Under the Voice heading (scroll down)
- Ensure the correct input and output devices are selected
- Test input/output levels for the correct volume
- The default setting for Voice Mode is Voice Activated- check if it's been toggled to 'Push To Talk'
- Ensure the boxes are checked for:
- 'Party Channel Enabled'
- 'Team Channel Endabled'
- Check in-game social menu options
- From the lobby screen, click the hooded Echo icon in the bottom right hand corner.
- Check and see if anyone on your team has been muted in your friends list
- Make sure that all players are in the same social channel
- Select the headphones icon in the top menu
- Make sure all members are listed and that they are in the correct channel
- From the lobby screen, click the hooded Echo icon in the bottom right hand corner.
More Suggestions:
- If you are on a mouse and keyboard, the ~ button toggles voice on and off, try pushing this button to see if it's muting/unmuting your voice channel appropriately
- Exit the game and Steam client and relaunch them
- Restart your computer and relaunch your Steam and game clients
